About
DC Gallery & Studio is a female, artist-owned gallery, maker retail space & studio that features contemporary art in a wide variety of media by emerging and established local artists.

DC Gallery & Studio represents a diverse roster of established and emerging regional artists. Our investment in quality curation is reflective of our owner’s love of art that pushes traditional boundaries and asks important questions.

Danielle Cartier, our owner, director and curator, was born and raised in Northern California, but has lived and produced art all over the world. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, she has been working in the art world for the past 15 years. Her mixed media paintings and murals can be found in numerous public and private collections throughout the United States. For a decade, she has worked as a muralist, art consultant and university professor while also maintaining her own art studio. As a gallerist, Danielle sees art through the eyes of an artist. DC Gallery & Studio is a deeply personal project working with artists that she loves.

“I have shown at many galleries through the years. Every experience has differed, but my time with Danielle at DC Gallery & Studio was absolutely amazing. Danielle has all of the energy, determination and drive needed to be a successful gallery owner and curator. She goes above and beyond. She is a fabulous addition to the Millville art scene. I look forward to seeing how the gallery grows and was honored to show with her. ”
